Welcome to the Alberta Retreads
The Alberta Retreads are a member of the Retreads Motorcycle Club International, Inc., (AMA Charter 3233) with some 24,000 members nationwide, all of whom share two things; an age of 40 plus and a love of motorcycling. The Retreads, founded by George Spidell in El Cajon, California in 1969, have members in all 50 states as well as Canada and Europe.
What does the Retreads do?
The club is a fellowship club. Our common interest in the motorcycle leads to many new friendships. The Club encourages participation in all aspects of the motorcycle world. Club activities are as many and varied as are the members themselves. Activities range from local breakfasts and "get togethers" to Area, Regional and International events.
What's the cost?
There is a membership fee of $25.00. Club pins and patches are available and are sold to each member at a reasonable cost. Otherwise the price of membership is simply the desire to enjoy the company and good times with fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
Where Are The Retreads?
Members are located across the United States and Canada, International in England, the Netherlands, Germany, Australia, with a few members scattered in other countries throughout the world.
